The dog owner is obliged to:
- The owner of the dog is obliged to comply with the stipulations of the Rules of Operation applicable to him in all respects
- By leaving the dog in the daycare, the dog owner accepts the DobDog dog daycare prices and operating rules
- In the daycare, the employee receiving the animal must be informed of all the information that serves the proper and safe keeping of the dog, in particular behavioural and socialisation problems, health status, immunisation, heat period, tendency to escape, tendency to damage or eat objects. In case of incorrect or missing information, the dog daycare is not taking responsibility.
Veterinary Service:
- The contract veterinarian of the dog daycare is Dr. Tímea Jánosi (Retr-Ó Street Veterinary Clinic, Budapest 1066, Ó utca 36.)
- All dogs handed over for daycare must have the mandatory and recommended vaccinations, and must be free of external and internal parasites.
- Any veterinary costs that may arise during the time that the dog spends at the dog daycare are always borne by the owner of the dog, unless the root cause is due to the fault of the dog daycare.
- The management of the daycare will notify the owner if veterinary intervention is needed during the dog's stay in the daycare. Only the owner of the dog is entitled to make any decision, the daycare cannot decide. An exception is when it comes to life-saving interventions!
- Quarantine: In the case of a suspected or real infectious disease of dogs brought to daycare, the veterinarian may order quarantine for the sick animal. Based on the instructions of the veterinarian, in the interest of the health of the other animals in the daycare and the sick animal, the dog will be separated from the others. The quarantine is carried out in a separate, designated kennel for this purpose, in accordance with the instructions of the veterinarian. Further actions are taken in consultation with the veterinarian and notifying the owner of the animal.
- If the dog needs urgent medical care for any reason during its stay in the dog, we will notify the dog owner immediately and ask him to come and pick up his dog as soon as possible! If this is not possible, but a life-saving intervention, i.e. immediate veterinary care, is required, then the intervention will be performed by the veterinary clinic contracted with the daycare. If the dog owner requests it, then their own veterinarian! The dog owner is responsible for the veterinary costs incurred, unless the veterinary intervention has been proven to have been carried out due to the unprofessional activity of the dog daycare.
The following shall not be considered as improper care:
- If the dog is latent, it suffers from an illness not indicated by the dog owner, and this becomes recognizable in daycare.
- if the owner is not aware of an illness or does not inform the daycare and therefore receives inadequate care for the dog's condition
- dog harms itself.
The daycare is NOT taking dogs into the daycare who are under continous medical treatment.
The process of caring for daycare dogs:
- We are not able to feed the dog in the daycare.
- If the dog needs a few bites of food because its stomach becomes extremely acidic and therefore produces vomiting, we ask for a few grains of food in a box with the dog's name at the disposal of the daycare! Please also indicate on the box at what time the dog must receive the food!
- After 5 hours in the daycare, the dogs will be taken out for a walk in the streets around DobDog, if the weather allows it. If the dog owner does not want this, he must indicate this at the reception when handing over the dog to the daycare staff!
- Fresh drinking water is provided continuously, and the bowls are checked regularly.
Hygienic conditions:
- The dog playground area, beds and drinking bowls are disinfected every evening.
- Cleaning is done with disinfectant, tap water and a steam cleaning machine.
